JOB PURPOSE:

The Account Payable Analyst will be responsible for handling various financial tasks such as recording transactions, preparing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. The Analyst will also be responsible for assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and other financial activities. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail and a proficiency in accounting tools along with excellent communication skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for all Accounts Payable activities for the company.
• Coordinate all payments made to vendors.
• Review and process invoices associated with purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Input and keep track of all overhead expenses.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Performs accounts Payable and general ledger maintenance.
• Responding to all inquiries regarding accounts payable from vendors, customers, and employees
• Liaison between Project Managers and Vendors

EXPERIENCE:

· Proven experience in international freight forwarding.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance

· Must have high proficiency in MS Windows

· Preparing basic reports, queries, and operational information.

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Station Manager/Vice President/CEO from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.

2. To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
